Wild Heritage Planners collaborates with government, industry, and stakeholders as urban planners, transportation advocates, sustainability advisors. Formed in 2004 with Friends of the Foothills Founder Paul Carlton to advance a more sustainable vision for development and preservation of Rancho Mission Viejo in South Orange County, California, Wild Heritage Planners is dedicated to smart growth and comprehensive environmental planning. Our members are as follows:

Jack Eidt
Urban Planner, Environmental Designer, and Novelist. Worked for a number of planners, developers, and environmental consultants in Southern California as well as managed the master planning and streetscape improvements for the expansion of The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Has also worked for the Ministry of Tourism in Nicaragua and the Municipality of Senahu, Guatemala, and lived on the Miskitu Coast of Honduras for two years. Presently on the Board of Friends of Harbors Beaches and Parks and is co-founder of Wild Heritage Planners.

Jerry Collamer
Creative communications specialist. Backgrounds in National Advertising and Television Communication. Writer. Artist. Native Californian with a world-view career arch. Pragmatic and common sense urban activist -- co-founder of Wild Heritage Planners.

Pete van Nuys
Marketing Communications professional specializing in outdoor recreation and travel markets, logging up to 40,000 highway miles a year in California and Arizona. Currently co-owner of Scott Gordon Designs, maker of carbon-composite parts and accessories for hot rod and performance cars. Founder of transportation advocacy group "Fix the 5 First."

Marni Magda
Retired community college professor, writer, and concerned environmental activist. Works to advocate and implement balanced solutions to urban sprawl and threats to our open spaces, wilderness, and public parklands.
